PT Trikomsel Oke Tbk at a Glance
PT Trikomsel Oke Tbk was established on 7 October 1996 under the name PT Trikomsel Citrawahana as the official distributor of Nokia in Indonesia. Through the implementation of strategic initiatives accompanied by excellent service and reliable operations, ultimately led PT Trikomsel Citrawahana to become one of the strongest providers of telecommunications products at the national level. Marking its rapid growth, PT Trikomsel Citrawahana changed its name to PT Trikomsel Multimedia.
PT Trikomsel Multimedia then expanded its distribution network and reached a wider market by launching an online cellular phone sales service and being the first to offer telecommunications equipment with credit card payments.
In 2007, the Company changed its name to PT Trikomsel Oke and on 14 April 14 2009, the Company conducted an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Indonesian Stock Exchange with the code “TRIO” and its name became PT Trikomsel Oke Tbk. On 13 July 2012, the Company officially acquired the shares of PT Global Teleshop Tbk and since 2016, the Company has implemented a strategy to focus on the retail segment. Responding to the challenges and opportunities that exist, the Company anticipates by making adjustments to the Company's business. This step is carried out by evaluating non-productive shops and closing them, while seeking the productivity of existing stores. By the end of 2020, the Company has 56 outlets spread across several regions of Indonesia and also focus on online sales.
The Company trades various types of cellular telecommunication devices and accessories from various well-known principals such as Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, Realme and others. In addition, the Company also offers operator products such as simcards and reload vouchers from various well-known operators in Indonesia.
